DIRECTORY DUMP IS COMIING UP ON THE 31ST!

Hi Friends,

It's almost the end of the month and I've been researching my butt off, which means two things: lots of articles coming up, and lots of research links and info I've gathered about environmental and wildlife organizations and individuals.

I was thinking recently, about how much I'd like to do, how stretched my heartstrings are, but how my purse strings are ready to snap (not to mention my Broken Old Broad body.). However, it occurred to me: I'm a writer with WIFI.  Bingo! I have oodles of followers on the one hand and dozens of people and organizations to write about on the other.

So, I started my Green Geezers blog and dug in.

You can do the same thing, and you don't even need to start the blog. Just share:

·         Pick a bunch of causes close to your heart: endangered wildlife, ocean pollution, fossil fuel issues, forest depletion, preserves, poaching, over-development of public lands, whatever tugs at your heartstrings.

·         Use the Green Geezer Directory (or Google) and find causes and their contact info – websites, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram addresses, and friend/follow them.

·         Scroll their pages every week or better, every day and like and share the daylights out of their posts and links.

·         As you're sharing each org/person's posts, look at what they share, who their friends and followers are, and share them as well. Friend/follow them as well, if they are working for your causes.

·         Add any new orgs/individuals you follow to your own directory and share the links with Green Geezers so we can list them in our directory too!

Word of mouth is a more powerful resource then ever thanks to social media and blogs. If you want to help your cause, share their info. Spread the word! It's so easy. You'll even make new friends who share interest in things you believe in the most.

And while helping causes, I'll bet you find some purpose – a way to make things better locally in your community, in your country, and all over the world, despite your own difficulties.

Start with this post. Let your friends know that Green Geezers Directory has lots of links in one place to make their support efforts easier. I'm even sectioning it into categories that are alphabetized to make it easier to find causes you're interested in.

The Directory Dump will be published on the last day of each month. I hope you'll find some links to get you started on your own mission to help.

Thanks for reading Green Geezers!

Ter
